'Borrow' he said, and he knew that meant it was for only as long as they were here, but still the offer was surprising.
He takes it and holds it up, feeling the thrum of power inside the orb, feeling too the Lifestream that it came from. Then he smiled as he pressed it against his arm and the blackness that was his body now surrounded it and pulled it into his body.
