It would not be long after the changes in the regime are.... noticed. Kadaj may or may not have long to relish that return before he's found; did he make himself scarce?

Well, it's Vincent that is hunting him. Neither knew the ship well enough to have an advantage, but as the Remnant will remember, the former Turk has crept up on them before.

Regardless of how long a cat and mouse would go on or even if it would happen at all, Eventually the red-cloaked man's voice is quietly heard.

He didn't run too far away. Kadaj had an investment in Tendi - he stood by her when she was injured, had watched as she tried to out-stubborn her wound, and then had stew with her. He was by this point invested enough to make sure that he knew where she was and that he had mapped out enough of the twisted cramped areas to get to her fast. The he went back down one of the more narrower halls only to hear that voice.

And oh, he couldn't resist the sheer eyeroll or the little snort before he turned and just glares at the Turk.

Vincent is being unduly cautious. One might say of Kadaj. This is in part true. He doesn't know how much the Remnant's attitude my change with his abilities back in force. But of their surroundings most of all. The way the red eyes gleam in shadows and shift to cast around for any signs of witnesses or eavesdroppers.

For the moment, he's satisfied they're alone.

"Everyone's had their limiters removed." He takes a step forward, then to one side as though seeking to glean anything useful from another angle of view.

[Remy's working on post-dinner clean up when the list of pairings go out, so the backdrop to his message is a familiar one - the kitchen, clearly angled by the sink. He could have waited until the shift was done, and normally he would, but they're in the middle of of a heating crisis, and he doesn't want to go looking later and find his new charge frozen to something because he couldn't take a few minutes out of his day.]

[ On the other hand, he doesn't pay attention to the announcements or anything. Instead he was doing his best to follow the rules - not because he doesn't want to have kitchen jail time, but because he was promised a fresh fruit filled treat. As it was, he has been getting better, mainly because someone actually tried teaching him what was best for the kitchen as a whole, even if the current flood had made him colder than he should be. ]

It's stupid. [ He may end up looking for Aerith and her blanket fort thing. ]

So when he gets his monthly inmate assignment, he checks his warden item to see Kadaj's location, and once Kadaj isn't in his cabin or the speakeasy or another place with access restrictions, Norton will simply teleport to him with a puff of displaced air and a bright smile.]

Yoohoo! Hi! I'm your warden for the month, so if you're planning on murdering anyone, wait until next month if you please. I'm Norton Folgate although since you've been a while I assume you know who I am. Everyone knows who I am, I'm very popular. [In his own mind, at least.] Anything I can do for you?

[ He may want to rethink the idea of subtle, especially since Kadaj's immediate reaction to someone suddenly appearing is to stab them. Luckily the most lethal thing he had one him at this moment was a paintbrush, so instead of a knife in the gut, he has a splatter of vivid neon orange across his stomach. Then he get a very teenager sigh of much annoyance and a brush waving vaguely at his face. ]

Has no one told you to not sneak up on people? [ He tosses his brush onto the table, and folds his arms. ]

I'm Kadaj. Yazoo is the brother who is here with us. Loz is the one who hasn't shown up. [ He will though Kadaj is certain of that. ] Or did you think we had other names?

[ They named themselves because Sephiroth didn't think it was important enough. But they did and so they took them from people in the Lifestream because there wasn't anyone to tell them different or to help them. Things are different here though. ]

No. We hate it more now because it was all lies to bring Sephiroth back. To make us go away again. We're making our own family now. One that isn't hers.
